About Me
As a first-generation American, I bring both lived experience and professional training into my counseling practice. Having gone through my own process of religious deconstruction, I know how layered questions of identity, belonging, and meaning can feel.
I specialize in working with young adults, professionals, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals who are exploring or redefining their spirituality. My therapeutic approach draws on CBT, DBT, somatics, psychodynamic, and humanistic, always tailored to fit each client’s unique needs. Rooted in an intersectional feminist perspective, my work recognizes how systems of power, privilege, and oppression shape our lived experiences—and how healing involves reclaiming agency and voice within those contexts.
What sets me apart is my intentional use of humor. I believe that incorporating play into adulthood is not just restorative but also a necessary element of health. Laughter can ease tension, open doors to deeper insight, and remind us that healing does not always need to feel heavy to be meaningful.
My goal is to create a collaborative, supportive environment where clients feel both understood and empowered. Together, we can navigate challenges, foster growth, and cultivate a sense of balance—while making space for lightness and joy along the way.
Qualifications
I bring over eight years of experience in mental health, with a background spanning acute hospital settings, youth development, and clinical practice. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis and have continued to grow my practice through training in Somatic EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-based treatment. Currently, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona.
I believe good therapy starts with curiosity and a willingness to keep learning. I’m interested in understanding not only what’s happening in someone’s life, but how their experiences have shaped the way they relate to themselves, their bodies, and the people around them. I bring these perspectives into my work while keeping the person in front of me at the center.
Hobbies
Outside of therapy, I’m a big believer in making room for things that are just fun. I love puzzles and games, themed parties and pretty much any opportunity to laugh, play, and dance. You’ll also find me enjoying aerial sports, where I get to be upside down and delightfully out of my comfort zone, and seeking out any body of water I can soak in. I think adulthood can get awfully serious, so I’m intentional about making space for joy, silliness, movement, and connection.
